The Indian Province

The Pioneer Sisters in India came from Burma and started their missionary work in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

The Province now has spread in 15 communities in different states like Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu West Bengal and Maharashtra and Andaman and Haiti. There are 102 sisters some among them are working in Cyprus, Ethiopia, France, Malta and Rome. The sisters are involved in various ministries like teaching, nursing, pastoral and social work.
